In 2009, Adele stopped by the WDET studios to chat with Ann Delisi and perform 3 songs before heading to St. Andrew's Hall for a sold out show. She talks about Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Jack White and The Spice Girls, as well as winning her first Grammy Awards only weeks before this interview. A lot has changed since then, but given her clean sweep of this year's Grammy Awards, we wanted to give you access to one of the first live performances on Essential Music. We hope you enjoy it.
