Comedian W. Kamau Bell Talks Visiting Detroit, Hamtramck, Dearborn

Comedian W. Kamau Bell is headed back to Detroit.

W. Kamau Bell is a young comedian and commentator who wears many hats; he hosts two podcasts, he’s an author, he’s host of CNN’s social commentary program “United Shades of America,” and he’s a stand-up comic.

Kamau Bell will be performing his stand-up act at St. Andrew’s Hall this Sunday in Detroit.

Kamau recently spoke with Detroit Today producer Laura Weber-Davis about his recent trip to Dearborn and Hamtramck for an episode of “United Shades of America”. He visited our area just days after the presidential election to learn more about our Muslim and Arab populations.
