SEMCOG honors St. Clair Riverfront Revival project.

 

 

Port Huron‘s Blue Water River Walk transformed a once-industrial area into a scenic pathway along the St. Clair River. Regional leaders have noticed an improvement. The Southeast Michigan Council of Governments is presenting its first Regional Showcase Award to the St. Clair Riverfront Revival project. SEMCOG Executive Director Kathleen Lomako says the three-mile shoreline revitalization is good not only for the environment, but the economy.
