Crimes of passion, of necessity and cold, and calculated evil take on flesh, bones and blood in these stories.

Michigan author Tom Carr has released a new book about murders in the state, some dating back to the late 1700’s. Blood on the Mitten takes a look at the people, places, and details of fifty-seven real life cases in the state. Listen to Carr discussing the book.

Carr will be signing books at the Next Chapter Bookstore in Northville this Friday, at Book Beat on Oak Park on Saturday, and at the Rochester Hills Public Library on November 1st.
