Two days packed full of special programming about music, gratitude, football and more.

Thanksgiving Day

  • “The Science of Gratitude” from Public Radio International.  In this hour, Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon explores how feeling grateful may be the true key to health and happiness.
  • In this hour of America’s Test Kitchen, several historians and experts discuss the raucous Thanksgiving tradition of ragamuffin parades, and how they gave way to the star-studded parade we’re accustomed to today.
  • A Sporkful Thanksgiving radio special with host Dan Pashman, featuring Mo Rocca, Amy Sedaris, Sam Sifton, Robert Krulwich and Brooke Gladstone.

  • RadioLab football special with your hosts Jad and Robert. 

  • A two-hour special, produced by Paul Ingles, marks the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles’ landmark album RUBBER SOUL. Over a dozen musicians, music writers and Beatles fans comment on the significance of this 1965 release.
