When you come to an intersection, can you see things all right? Is anything blocking your vision, such as a tree, or a building? A Wayne State engineering professor is part of a national study of intersections, to make them safer, and thus reduce the risk of getting into a crash. Dr. Timothy Gates is an assistant professor of civil and environment engineering. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked Dr. Gates to put the purpose of the study in focus.
