The Tigers lost game one of the 2012 World Series to the Giants in San Francisco Wednesday night. Giants third baseman Pablo "Kung Fu Panda" Sandoval slugged three home runs in an 8-to-3 romp at AT&T Park. He's only the fourth player to homer thrice in a World Series game. Two of the blasts came off of Tigers' starter Justin Verlander, who had only allowed two earned runs in his last three playoff starts. WDET's Pat Batcheller recapped the game with WXYZ-TV sports reporter David Solano. Click the audio link above to hear the conversation.
