Woodward's Vinsetta Garage Inspires TV Show

A Metro Detroit landmark will soon have a new life. The Vinsetta Garage in Berkley closed last year...after repairing cars for more than nine decades.

Officials at the publication Autoweek say the site was so significant in the region’s auto culture…that they couldn’t stand by and watch the building sit empty.

This week…they announced that the Vinsetta Garage will become a new restaurant…and the inspiration for a new cable television show about automobiles.

Autoweek Publisher K-C Crain spoke about the project with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn.
