An eastside Detroit neighborhood will be the site of a community clean-up effort tomorrow (Sat).
Volunteers will cut grass and pickup garbage in the area near Chalmers and Seymour.
WDIV sportscaster Katrina Hancock is organizing the cleanup effort – her second this year.
The event runs from eight a-m until two p-m at the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church located on the corner of Chalmers at Seymour.
Hancock spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn about how inspired she was about her first project in June.
