Vincent Van Gogh's Bedroom in Arles is coming to the Detroit Institute of Arts for a special exhibit. On loan from the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, the painting will be part of a show spotlighting the famous Dutch artist. Salvador Salort-Pons is head of the European Art Department at the DIA. He says the painting is significant because it demonstrates Van Gogh's evolution as an artist. The Musée d'Orsay's Bedroom in Arles is one of three versions of the painting done by Van Gogh. The DIA exhibit opens Feb. 19th and will run through May 28th.
