The Republicans running for Thaddeus McCotter’s seat in Congress next year, are also running in the special election to fill the remainder of his term this year. That special election will be held in September, about a month after the regularly scheduled primary. Confused? WDET’s Pat Batcheller asked Michigan Public Radio’s Rick Pluta to sort things out.
