UAW Briefs Media On Tentative GM Deal

Leaders of the United Auto Workers gathered in downtown Detroit Tuesday morning to brief the media on the terms of a tentative contract agreement between the union and General Motors.

The four-year deal includes the creation of new jobs and thousands of dollars in bonuses for current workers.

WDET’s Noah Ovshinsky attended the news conference. He spoke with WDET News Director Jerome Vaughn.
