If you owe income taxes to the city of Detroit, you’ll be able to pay them without penalty, but only for a short time. Mayor Dave Bing announced a tax amnesty program for businesses and individuals with back taxes from 2011 or earlier. It begins on Tuesday, January 22nd, and runs through February 16th.
