Detroit Mayor Dave Bing fired the head of the city's Law Department Tuesday. He acted after getting approval from the City Council, which voted six-to-three to allow Bing to replace Krystal Crittendon. Crittendon said she was acting under the power given to her by the charter. WDET's Pat Batcheller spoke with City Council member James Tate about the decision.
