The violence that claimed seven lives in Detroit over the weekend is still fresh in peoples' minds. WDET is asking newsmakers, changemakers, and listeners what they can do about the problem. Detroit City Council member Saunteel Jenkins's brother Jovan was killed by gun violence, prompting her to start a foundation in his memory. Part of the foundation's goal is to get guns off the streets. Jenkins talked about it with WDET's Pat Batcheller Tuesday morning. Click the audio link above to hear the conversation.
