Governor Rick Snyder met with The Council of Baptist Pastors today at Bethel Baptist Church in Detroit. The meeting focused on voter registration laws in the state, the second span of the bridge, and the consent agreement. However, the meeting ended abruptly after protesters entered the meeting to voice their anger of the Emergency Manager Law. Reverend Michael Owens is the President of The Council of Baptist Pastors. He spoke with WDET's Jerome Vaughn about the meeting.
