Tuesday is Election Day across Metro Detroit. Voters will decide a handful of millage increases and bond requests in several communities and school districts. The polls will open at 7:00 am and close at 8:00 pm. Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson says May elections typically have low turnout, so she's encouraging residents to exercise their right to vote. She spoke with WDET's Pat Batcheller.
