State Senate Okays Blue Cross Changes

October 18, 2012

The State Senate has approved Governor Rick Snyder’s plan to turn Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan into a customer-owned nonprofit, and to end its tax-exemption. The legislation now goes to the State House, which probably won’t vote on it until after the election.
