Pewabic Pottery and Detroit Tigers Teaming Up

Two of Detroit’s largest cultural icons will come together this spring. Pewabic Pottery has partnered up with the Detroit Tigers and the Major League Baseball Association to create an officially licensed Detroit “D” tile. WDET's Annamarie Sysling speaks with Sandy Koukoulas, the Director of Membership and Special Events at Pewabic. Koukoulas says the tile will be available for purchase in May. Pewabic Pottery is one of three national historic landmark potteries in the country, and the only one in Michigan.
