College football kicked off Thursday night, as Central Michigan defeated SE Missouri State, 38-27. Eastern Michigan lost at Ball State, 37-to-26. 13th-ranked Michigan State opens its season at home Friday night against number 24 Boise State. 8th-ranked Michigan faces defending national champion Alabama Saturday night in Dallas. Wayne State, which made it all the way to the Division 2 title game in 2011, starts the season on September 8th at Ashland.
