Obama Speaks on Gay Marriage Issue

In an interview with ABC News yesterday, President Obama announced he personally supports gay marriage but still believes it is up to the states to decide. His announcement came as a surprise on both sides of the issue. Emily Dievendorf is the Policy Director for Equality Michigan, an LGBTQ advocacy group based in Lansing. She spoke with WDET's Pat Batcheller about the issue.
