Decades after Jackie Robinson broke Major League Baseball’s color barrie, the number of African-Americans in the game is falling. A study by U-S-A Today says only about eight percent of the active players on Major League rosters are African-American, compared with 27 percent in the mid-1970s. Jason Smith of thegrio.com took a closer at the study. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked him why fewer blacks are playing baseball, and whether the trend can be reversed.
