9-11 Ten Years Later: No More "Weekend Warriors"

All this week, WDET is focusing on the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks in 2001. The years since have been a time of tremendous change, especially for those who serve in the Michigan National Guard. After a decade full of deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan, the once-derisive nickname "weekend warriors" no longer applies. WDET's Noah Ovshinsky talked with National Guard director Gen.
