The National Weather Service says the drought parching the U.S. is the worst in more than a half-century. Here in Michigan, large parts of Metro Detroit are suffering moderate to severe drought conditions. Dick Wagenmaker is the meteorologist in charge of the Weather Service office in White Lake. He says it’s been abnormally dry throughout the state.
