After a visit to the dentist yesterday … Mayor Bing was admitted to Henry Ford Hospital for “discomfort.” Bing spent the night in the hospital for observation and continues to recover there today. Mayor Spokesperson Naomi Patton says doctors diagnosed Bing with inflammation of the intestine. She says the condition is common … but non-life threatening … adding that the mayor is feeling upbeat and ready to return to work. A decision regarding his release will be made later today.
