The Michigan Department of Civil Rights says discrimination against gay people hurts the economy, while gay-friendly policies could be good for business. The department studied the impact of discrimination, and just issued its findings. Public Affairs director Leslee Fritz told WDET's Pat Batcheller why the MDCR did the study, and what it found.
