Cynthia Kallgren is the Republican candidate in the new 12th Congressional district, which includes the Dearborn, Downriver, and Ann Arbor areas. She’s running against Democratic Congressman John Dingell, the longest-serving member of the U.S. House. Kallgren is a life-long Downriver resident, where she has owned her own business and raised four children. She says that experience gives her a better perspective than Dingell on how to improve the economy and create jobs in the district.
