Eleanor Josaitis co-founded Focus:HOPE with Rev. William Cunningham after the 1967 riot in Detroit, to help people escape poverty. Since then, an estimated 11,000 people have received food and job training help, along with many other services. Thousands have also volunteered for the agency.
