Bert Johnson Runs For Congress

State Senator Bert Johnson (D-Highland Park) is running for Congress in the new 13th district, which covers much of Detroit, Highland Park, and some western Wayne County suburbs. Many of the voters in the district are now represented by John Conyers, whose re-election plans are unclear. If Conyers runs in the 13th, Johnson says he’s ready for the challenge.
