Former Michigan Congressman Pete Hoekstra (R-Holland) has decided to run for the U. S. Senate seat held by Debbie Stabenow (D-Lansing). In March, Hoekstra said he would not run, after serving 18 years in the U. S. House of Representatives and waging an unsuccessful campaign for governor in 2010.
