There’s still a chance that the state will let the federal government manage an Internet exchange where Michigan residents can shop for private insurance plans. The exchange is required by the Affordable Care Act. Governor Rick Snyder wants the state to work with Washington to manage the exchange, but Republicans in the Legislature face mounting pressure from conservatives NOT to go along with it.
