A longtime Michigan educator and former State Senator is lending his name to a new school. The Faxon Language Immersion Academy will begin operation as a charter school in the fall. Jamina Tepley is the board president for the new school in Farmington Hills. She spoke with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn.
