Ferndale Police Chief Keeps Crime In Perspective

With the recent spike in the number of homicides, many Metro Detroiters are again expressing concerns about violent crime.

While the City of Detroit remains the focus of many anti-crime efforts, suburban communities have their own worries. Ferndale officials say they’re holding their own against criminals.

As part of WDET’s “Crossing The Lines” project, Jerome Vaughn talked to Ferndale Police Chief Timothy Collins and asked him how safe Ferndale is.
