The New Detroit-Windsor Bridge Is Another Step Closer to Reality

Construction of a new bridge between Detroit and Windsor took another step forward this week. The U.S. government has waived its "Buy American" policy so that Canadian steel can be used to build the bridge. Governor Snyder asked for the waiver. WDET's Pat Batcheller spoke with Lt. Governor Brian Calley about the waiver, and whether Michigan's new right-to-work law might throw a political monkey-wrench into the project. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
