Detroit Navy Week

People travelling to Detroit’s waterfront this week will be surprised to see some unusual sights. In a rare visit, military ships have docked for the Detroit Navy Week to celebrate the bicentennial of the War of 1812. Rear Admiral Gregory Nosal is with Carrier Strike Group Two. He told WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen about opportunities for Metro-Detroiters to tour the ships.
