When you think about Cobo Center, chances are you think about vehicles with at two axles and four wheels. After all, the Auto Show _is _an international event -- and we _are _the Motor City.
But on Saturday afternoon (3/24/12), a group of Detroiters will present the venue and the city in a new mode, one involving only two wheels.
Jason Hall, Mike MacKool, and Mike Sheppard are the organizers of Detroit Bike City. It's a one-day convention and swap meet concerning all things bicycle. Entry is only $8 and kids under 12 get in for free!
MacKool says the region has such a rich bike culture, an event like this was long overdue.
