The City of Dearborn is known world-wide as the home to Ford Motor Company…The Henry Ford…and one of the largest populations of Arabs and Arab Americans outside of the Middle East.
The man with the task of managing the city is Mayor Jack O’Reilly. He was appointed to the position in December 2006 when Mayor Michael Guido died.
During a conversation with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn for our “Crossing The Lines” series, O’Reilly began talking about his father – John O’Reilly - who also served as Mayor of Dearborn.
WDET is holding a community meeting in Dearborn Wednesday night. There’s more info at WDET-dot-org.
