Wayne State University officially opened its Damon J. Keith Center for Civil Rights today (Wed). The center is named for the long time judge and civil rights activist. Wayne State President Allan Gilmour says the new center will keep history alive by providing educational opportunities and experiences. The center will host programs of scholarly legal study… community outreach…and public lectures by civil rights leaders.
