Don't Blink Or You Could Miss This Comet

Look toward the west around sunset the next couple of nights and you might catch a glimpse of a rarely-seen comet. The PanSTARRS comet was discovered in 2011, but scientists believe it only comes around once every 110-thousand years, so if you don’t see it this time, you never will. Mike Narlock is the director of astronomy at the Cranbrook Institute of Science. He says this week is the best chance to see this particular comet, weather permitting.
