The Craig Fahle Show
Discussing the issues and ideas important to metropolitan Detroit, host Craig Fahle talks with the newsmakers, people making a difference in our community, and WDET listeners. |

The Canadian Auto Workers Union is currently embroiled in negotiations with Detroit automakers. The CAW targeted all three automakers this year--instead of negotiating with one--as is their traditional practice. Dino Chiodo is the President of Windsor’s Local 4-4-4, and is the Chairperson of Chrysler Master Bargaining. Chiodo tells WDET’s J. Carlisle Larsen that negotiations have been underway for weeks but the Union feels the automakers are only asking for concessions.
The CAW announced on Wednesday that its members should prepare for a strike should a September 17th deadline pass with no results.
