Cass Tech Band To See Inauguration

Musicians from Cass Technical High School are on their way to Washington for President Obama’s second inauguration on Monday. Members of the marching band and jazz band will be part of pre-inauguration festivities, and will get to see the president take the oath of office. Band director Sharon Allen tells WDET's Pat Batcheller her students have been practicing and preparing since they got the invitation. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
