Borders Closes its Doors After 40 Years

Border’s announced yesterday that its closing its doors. The Ann Arbor-based bookseller, which employs about 10,000 people nationwide, was unable to find a buyer. The company is expected to sell itself to a group of liquidators. Daniel Duggan covers the retail beat for Crain’s Detroit Business.
