Michigan could become the nation's 24th "right-to-work" state as early as next week. Three separate right-to-work bills were approved in the state House and state Senate, allowing workers in unionized workplaces to opt out of paying dues. The Legislature will reconvene next week, and lawmakers are expected to give final approval to the measures as soon as Tuesday. WDET's Pat Batcheller talked about it with Bob King, the president of the United Auto Workers. Click the audio link above to hear the conversation.
