Among those watching and listening to Mayor Dave Bing's State of the City address Wednesday night was State Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D). Her district includes much of southwest Detroit. The mayor proposed a plan to allow property owners in southwest neighborhoods to purchase adjacent vacant lots for $200. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked Rep. Tlaib if she likes the idea, and how it would help her constituents. Click the audio link above to hear her response, and the grade she gave Bing's speech.
