You can't drive any of the cars at the North American International Auto Show without a license, but while you're at Cobo Center, you can renew your license plates, register to vote, and conduct other business with the Secretary of State. Ruth Johnson has set up a full-service branch at Cobo during the public portion of the show, which starts on January 14th. WDET's Pat Batcheller talked with Johnson about the temporary branch office. She also talked about what the auto show means to her, and shared a story about her first car. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
