Art Birmingham Highlights Holiday Weekend

Downtown Birmingham will be full of art and artists this weekend. It’s the 31st annual Art Birmingham in Shain Park. This is the first time the event has been held on Memorial Day weekend. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked the Birmingham-Bloomfield Art Center’s president Annie VanGelderen why organizers chose a holiday to hold the event. Art Birmingham starts Saturday at 10:00 am in Shain Park in downtown Birmingham. It runs until 6:00 pm, and from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on Sunday.
