Organizers of the annual Arab International Festival in Dearborn are looking at moving the event from Warren Avenue to Ford Woods Park this summer. By moving, the city and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce hope to accommodate the growing crowds for the event, and limit potential confrontations between festival-goers and anti-Muslim groups. Fay Baydoun is the executive director of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce. WDET's Pat Batcheller asked her if there was one particular confrontation or incident in recent years that prompted the move. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
