A Detroit arts program is seeking artists to transform Belle Isle into an outdoor gallery this summer. The five-year-old organization, Access Arts Detroit works with artists and park administration to create exhibits that embrace Belle Isle’s history and landscape. The Co-Director of Access Arts, Louis Casinelli, tells WDET's Annamarie Sysling that the group hopes to lure visitors and artists from all of Metro Detroit. The group holds an informational session about the project tonight (Feb. 28) at the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills.
