Wednesday is the third and final day of hearings before the U.S. Supreme Court on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. The Michigan League for Human Services supports the federal law, saying it has already helped thousands of low- to-moderate income residents in the state. Spokeswoman Judy Putnam told WDET's Pat Batcheller that it’s not a perfect law, but it’s a step in the right direction. Click on the audio link above to hear the conversation.
WDET will present a one-hour NPR News special on the historic Supreme Court hearings on the Affordable Care Act Wednesday night at 8:00 on 101-9 FM.
