The Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health has awarded the University a second 10-year contract to continue housing the Perinatology Research Branch. Dr. Valerie Parisi is the Dean of the Wayne State School of Medicine. She spoke with WDET's Pat Batcheller about the $166-million grant.
